Hazel Akin
Graveside services for Hazel Akin, 82, Canton were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 16, at Long Creek Cemetery, Sunnyvale, under the direction of Anderson Clayton Brothers Funeral Home, Mesquite.
She was born March 19, 1916, in Canton and passed away November 12, 1998.
Survivors include daughters, Shirley Arnold, Audre Akin, Betty Seay, Judy McCurdy, and Cindy Lyle; sons, Foster, Akin, Clyde Akin, Benny Akin, and Dennis Akin; 30 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Colegraove, Arvita Robinson, Lucille Dixon, Onie Weaver, Murline Shiftlet, Nevell Couch; brother, Jaimie Pruitt; and several nieces and nephews.
