William Akin & daughters Sarah & Elizabeth, 1780s Virginia
Posted by: Juli Morgan (ID *****8011) Date: December 07, 2007 at 15:01:19

Looking for any information about William AKIN who resided in Chesterfield County, Virginia in the 1780s. I know he had two daughters, Sarah (or Sally) who married Lunsford LANDRUM, and Elizabeth (or Betsy) who married William ELLIS in Chesterfield County on 13 November 1782.

In 1791 William AKIN deeded slaves to his son-in-law William ELLIS who resided in Lunenburg County, Virginia. The LANDRUMs also resided in Lunenburg County.

The Lunsford LANDRUM & Sally AKIN are my direct line, and William ELLIS & Betsy AKIN are indirectly in my CRAFTON line.

Thank you!
