I am not sure what time frame you are looking for, but here are the connections that I could find in a quick scan of my Akin family tree.

Elizabeth Russell (1752-1828), d/o William Russell (1708-1793), was born in Quaker Hill, Dutchess, NY and married Edward Akin (1750-1813) also born in Quaker Hill in 1773. They first moved to White Creek, Washington, NY and then in 1803 moved to Johnson Hall, Johnstown, Montgomery (now Fulton), NY where they both died.

Rebecca Russell (1747-1803), d/o Timothy Russell, married Thomas Akin, Jr. (1743-1822) in 1767 in Dartmouth, Bristol, MA where they lived their lives.

Timothy Akin (1790-1873) married as his second wife, Sarah Russell (1795-1879)in New Bedford, Bristol, MA.

William Russell, b. 1740, married Anna Akin in 1787 in Dartmouth, Bristol, MA.

Peace Russell (1735-1811) married John Akin, II (1734-1796) on 1762 in Abington, now Rockland, MA.

Amy Akin (1765-1794) married William Russell, b. 1765, in New Bedford, Bristol, MA. This same William Russell then married Ruth Akin (1771-1799), Amy's sister, in 1794 after Amy had died.

There may be more (and probably are), but these are the ones I could find.
