Researching Surname of ENGLISH

I would like to correspond with anyone who is researching the surname of English in and around Baldwin County, Alabama.

In particular, I am seeking descendents of a Sampson English who was born in 1833, probably in Washington County, Georgia, and is found in Coffee County, Alabama in 1848.

Sampson was the firstborn son of John J. English. John J. English was born December 2, 1810, in Washington County, Georgia, and migrated to Coffee County, Alabama. John J. English was the firstborn son of Sampson J. English (1790-1865).

I descend from James Wilke English (1835-1918) who was the brother of Sampson who was born in 1833.

There is another brother, William, born in 1841, who possibly moved to Baldwin County too. I would also enjoy hearing from any of his descendents.

Linda English
