The oldest surviving document in the Baldwin County Courthouse is a deed by which Joseph B. Vaughn sold a slave named Molly to George Larkin. It is dated August 15, 1810. Who was this Joseph Vaughn? I'd really like to hear from anyone with information; if we have a connection I may have a great deal of subsequent data to share. Thanks.
