Seeking info. about the Parent's of Eugene Elbie Brooks, and Flora Almedie Coleman! Eugene Elbie Brooks was a Baptist Preacher around Baldwin, Escambia, & Monroe Co., Alabama, he and Flora were buried next to a Free Will Baptist Church near Castleberry, Alabama! I'm not sure what the name of this cemetery is, if anyone can tell me the name of it, I sure would appreciate it very much! Eugene & Flora had five known children, one son, and four daughter's! Their son was James Lamar Brooks, born Feb. 5, 1911, and died May 19, 2000 in Baldwin Co., Alabama, near Atmore, Alabama. His wife was Lillian Mae Guy, who was born Mar. 19, 1924 in Clarke Co., Alabama, the dau. of William Powers & Mattie Cornelia "Welch" Guy. James Lamar & Lillian Mae "Guy" Brooks had 11 children, 5 son's, & 6 daughter's! Eugene & Flora four daughter's were Mrytle "Brooks" Smith, the wife of Early Smith. Minnie Lee "Brooks" Williams, the wife of Willis Green Williams. Hattie Mae "Brooks" Lord, wife of Robert Lord, and Estelle "Brooks" Snow..! Is there anyone working on this Brooks line?
