Miss Julie,My name is Ray Kilpatrick,My ggrandfather was J.A.Kilpatrick(John A.Kilpatrick)of Barbour County,Al.I am looking for all the information I can find on him.He had a son named David Easley that was a half brother to my grandfather,Claude Kilpatrick.J.A. Kilpatrick settled in the Crenshaw County area in the mid to late 1880's and is Buried there in what is known as the Old Leon Cemetery.I am tring to locate where he was and to whom he was married before that.I can also safley say that his Fathers name was Warry Kilpatrick born in or abt.1791 and married Elizabeth? born abt 1794
J.A.had several brothers that is listed in the 1850 census of Barbour county including Issac Kilpatrick.Their father Warry Kilpatrick is Listed in this household with his wife.Please contact me.I think we can help each other.
