I have begun to research my wife's ancestry. Her GGG-GP's were Green B. and Eliza Burnett shown in District 19, Dwelling and Family Number 1181, in the 1850 US Census for Chambers Co. According to Al Marriage Records from 1809 to 1920, Green B. Burnett and Eliza Anrea were married in Chambers Co on 27 Dec 1840. The problem is I cannot find an Anrea family in AL or GA for 1840, 1850, or 1860. Also I cannot find Chambers Co Marriages for this period on the internet so that I could verify names. In 1850 Green B. and Eliza were living next door to John and Elizabeth Avery. In the 1860 Census for Southern Russell County, John Avery's son Needham is living with Green and Eliza Burnett. I believe that Eliza Anrea is really Eliza Avery. John Avery moved to Randolph County and lived out his life. I have traced Green Burnett's family to Blount, Cullman Madison and Marshall Counties where they still reside. I am crippled with a muscle disease and do most of my research via the internet. Any help would be appreciated. Notify Administrator about this message?
