Nancy Amazon Bonds (17 November 1849-13 November 1923) married Joseph B. “Joe” or “Buck” Smith (25 November 1850-16 July 1912) on 1 December 1881 in Chambers County, Alabama. The children of Joseph B. “Joe” or “Buck” and Nancy Amozon Bonds Smith were: Lillie M. Smith (born March 1885) married Elcona K. Sanders (born 14 February 1881); Minnie L. Smith (born March 1885); John William Smith (1 January 1887-9 April 1961) married Esther _______ and settled in Birmingham, Alabama; and Elizabeth “Bettie” Smith (23 June 1890-9 April 1974…note: death certificate lists 30 June 1890 as date of birth) married John Wesley “J. W.” Landrum (9 October 1887-22 March 1968) on 12 November 1911 in Chambers County, Alabama.
