According to my records, Farmer's Hill Cemetery is also known as Parker's Grove Church Cemetery. Weaver cemetery is a couple of miles away. Parker's Grove cemetery is badly grown up and it is extremely difficult to find a grave there. Someone has been trying to clean up the cemetery, but I think most of the clean up has been in the part of the cemetery where the blacks are buried.
Directions to Parker's Grove/Farmer's Hill cemetery is to take Hwy 9 out of Centre towards Piedmont. Turn right onto county road 71. Follow county road 71 for about 6 or 7 miles. You will see an old service station on the right (it is closed but the man who owned it lives next door. he can give you directions to the cemetery). About 1/2 mile past it on the left is Parker's Grove church. About 50 yards futher down the road there is a road to the right (I dont think it is paved). Follow the road up past a few houses and the road will circle the cemetery. The cemetery sits on a hill that overlooks everything.
