I'm researching John Reece Hill from Cherokee Alabama married Carrie Beulah Pope Jan 17, 1920 in Dekalb Alabama.
Both are buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Geraldine, Alabama. They had two children: Vancil HIll, and Carrie Pauline HIll, who married Carl Chandler of Grove Oak. Carl and Pauline are buried at Kelly's Chapel Cemetery in Dekalb County near Grove Oak. Carrie's father was John W. Pope born 1867 died 1921. Her mother was Sarah Caldonia born 1872, died 1949. Both of them are buried at Piney Grove Cemetery. Any help locating siblings, parents or other ancestors is greatly appreciated.
