Am looking for information on Elijah Sikes born abt 1777-1779 in NC. He was listed in the 1830 & 1840 census in Washington Co., AL and in Choctaw Co., Al census of 1850 and 1860. One of his daughters married Hardy Bush. Elijah's wife's name was Catherine. Elijah may have been the father of Owen Sikes, but I have as of yet to locate any proof of this. I believe two of Elijah's sons were Franklin and Lewis Sikes
