Thank you so much for your reply. I had just returned from the Family History Center and looked at a film of Choctaw County marriage records for 1871-1899. I found exactly the same thing you just relayed to me. I also found John Wesley Singleterry's mother, C. A. Singletary, remarried 12-25-1887 to W. M. Tilley. Do you know if W. M. Tilley and Elizabeth Tilley are related?
