George and Lemuel (Lam) are the sons of Jesse C. Taylor and Lucy Ryals. The family was originally from Edgefield County, SC, moving to Lowndes County, AL about 1830, then on to Coffee County, and later settling in Choctaw County, AL. I am descended from their brother, Samuel T. Taylor who married Amanda Elizabeth Givens. I have quite a bit of info on these Taylors, and would be happy to share with you.
