I am looking for information on Owen SIKES b abt 1812 in NC. In 1836 Owen married Sarah MILLER in Washington Co. AL. their children were Susan, Elijah, Napoleon, Catherine, Elizabeth, Mary, Owen M. ,Octavia. Susan m Robert BURNS, Elizabeth m (1) Washington THOMPSON, (2) Eli NEEDHAM, Mary m Thomas GUINN, Napoleon m Barbara BUTCHEE,Owen M m (1)Ellen FOSTER (2) Ann RUDDER (3) Lucy STRINGER (4) Emma MARTIN. Some of the children moved to Tx after the civil war. There was a Elijah SIKES that may have been the father to Owen. Any help, questions, or ideas on futher research would be appreciated.
