Mary, I live in Eva, about 7 miles East of the McGlathery community.

Your ancestor's land is probably under Lewis Smith Lake now. The lake is in parts of Cullman, Winston and Walker Counties. The dam was completed in 1961 on the Sipsey Fork of the Black Warrior River. Smith Lake is over 21,000 acres. Rick
