Mary,

Just so there isn't any confusion....I don't know of a "McGlathery Cemetery" or one located "in" the McGlathery community. I do know of 3 or 4 cemeteries within a 3 or 4 mile radius that have promise. I went to the Cook Cemetery this afternoon and sure enough there are 4 or 5 McGlatherys buried there. Some old and a couple new. The oldest one was a Reverand James McGlathery and his wife Matilda Turney. They were both born in 1818. The Cook Cemetery is about 3 miles from the McGlathery community.

I also talked to a 77 year old lady, an Eva native and fellow genealogy nut, who thinks I may find bunch of McGlatherys in the old Key Cemetery, which is in a pasture about 2 miles from the Cook Cemetery. It is well maintained and has a chain link fence around it. It may take me a week or two to get over there.....stay tuned.
