Services for Mrs. Susie Hicks, 87-year-old Red Bay, Ala., resident who formerly lived in Itawamba County were held on July 24, 1957 at her home with burial at Hopewell Cemetery at Bounds Cross Roads in Itawamba County with Hawkins Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Hicks had been in ill health for some time. She lived at Red Bay for about a year and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors included a brother, M. D. Spiller of Jasper, Ala., and two sisters, Mrs. Lela Self and Mrs. Ophelia Tallant, both of Red Bay.
