Orvill Bullen, 83, died Feb. 15, 2009, at the Helen Keller Hospital. He was born May 22, 1925, in Franklin County, Ala. to the late Otis and Eloise South Bullen. He was a member of the Community Center Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.
Services were at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. burial in the Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Mildred Bullen of Red Bay, Ala.; three children, Donna Dulaney (Eddie) and Jerry Bullen, both of Red Bay and Eddie Bullen (Betty) of Pleasant Prairie, Wis.; four grandchildren; one sister, JoAnn Golowitzer of Waukegan, Ill.; and two brothers, Leroy Bullen and Thomas Bullen, both of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Larry Bullen; two sisters, Sarah Rayburn and Pauline Gresko; and one brother, Bill Bullen.
