A three year old boy was fatally injured Sept. 28, 1957 near Fulton when the back door of the car in which he was a passenger came open while he and his father were playing in the back seat. Glenn Allen Capps was thrown from the family car which was going east on Highway 78 west of Fulton when the door came open. The child’s mother, Mrs. Billy Capps, was driving with the child and his father together on a weekend trip to Mrs. Capps parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Rogers of Red Bay, Ala. Spain Funeral Home of Tupelo was in charge of the funeral services. Burial was in Red Bay, Ala., and the funeral services were also held there.
Survivors included his parents, his maternal grandparents and a paternal grandparent.
