Henry Deaton, 58, died March 8, 2009, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1950, in Ala. to Archie and Beatrice Pardue Deaton. He was employed at Sunshine Mills for 33 years.
Services were at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with burial in the Joel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included three daughters, Lisa Tepper and Amanda Brazil (Brandon), both of Red Bay and Misty Spencer (Charles) of Tishomingo; five brothers, Gene Deaton (Sue) and Steve Deaton (Peggy), both of Dennis, Edward Deaton of Scottsboro, Ala., Donald Deaton (Brenda) of Golden and Lester Deaton (Deresia) of Red bay; one sister, Linda Holland (June) of Vina; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Deaton; his parents; and one sister, Earlene Carlisle.
