William Curtis 'Curt' Weaver (b. 10-20-1888 in Gum Creek, Itawamba Co., MS),was my grandmother Celeste Weaver Rogers' brother. He was the son of Charles 'Charlie' Weaver and Mary C. Hawkins. He married Oscar Sample on Dec. 30, 1917 in Itawamba Co., MS. Oscar was born 1885/1888 in Itawmaba Co, MS and d. in 1919 in Itawamba Co., MS. She died in childbirth and is buried with her infant son in the Lentz Cem.,in Itawamba Co., MS. Celeste Weaver Rogers preceded him in death in 1963 in Hope, Hempstead CO., AR, and his sister Rose Ella Weaver Lentz (Alonzo) died in 1954.Ella is buried in the Lentz Cem in Itawamba Co., MS.
