Funeral services for Man Davis, who died at his Red Bay home after a long illness, were held Nov. 19, 1957. He was 70 years old. Mr. Davis had lived all of his life near Red Bay. His wife, Mrs. Cassie Tharp Davis, preceded him in death. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Masonic order.
Survivors included one daughter, Mrs. Dewdrop Davis Bennich; two brothers, John and Jim Davis, both of Red Bay; and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Pleasant, Mrs. Georgia Clanton and Mrs. Bertha Witt, all of Red Bay.
Deaton Funeral Home had charge.
