Rollin McKinley "Buz" Cox, 79, died March 23, 2009, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Alabama to Bert and Catherine Cox. He was a logger for 25 years.
Services were March 25 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Hodges, Ala.
Survivors included his wife, Hazel Cox of Red Bay; two sons, Benny Cox and David Cox, both of Red Bay; one daughter, Dinah Gresham of Red Bay; five sisters, Polly Marques, Elaine Keller, Cathleen McDonald, Jewell Ballard and Sue Cox, all of Alabama; one brother, Leburn Cox of Cullman; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Dennis Cox and Ricky Cox; and one sister and two brothers.
