Gresham Jr. Pierce, 82, of Russellville, died April 23, 2009, at Helen Keller Hospital. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Russellville.
The funeral services were April 25, 2009, at Akins Funeral Home with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, Mescal Roden Kuykendall; daughter, Pat Butler; sons, Kenneth Pierce and wife Betty Joy, Terry Pierce and wife Lee, Larry Pierce and wife Betty Jean; daughter-in-law, Dianne Pierce; sisters, Betty Pierce Wilson, Elizabeth Pierce McDougle and husband Obie, Joyce Ann Pierce Mansell; grandchildren, Eddie Wilson and wife Deb, Kisha Wilson Dison and husband Alan, Michael Bud Wilson and wife Jennifer, Angela Pierce Brandenburg and husband Chuck, Greg Pierce and wife Allison, Ginger Pierce Reynolds and husband Mitch, Chris Pierce and wife Missy, Stephen Bond, Josh Pierce and wife, Ashley Pierce Fisher and husband Justin, Shannon Pierce, Justin Pierce, Tiffany Pierce Lewis and husband Bobby, Danielle Pierce and husband Clay, Faith Pierce Scott and husband Matt; 29 great grandchildren; 8 nieces and 7 nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Pierce; parents, Jessie Willard Pierce and Lily Mae Chambers Pierce; brothers, Boyce Pierce, James Pierce; sister, Emma Pierce Bray; brothers-in-law, William Bray, Marvin Wilson, Tommy Ray Mansell.
