Henry 'Buck' Parker is the son of David Abraham Malone born 16 November 1843 in Franklin CO, AL and died 13 August 1917 in Russellville, Franklin Co, Al. Burial: Knights of Pythias Cemetery near Russellville. His grave is marked with a Bronze plague as he was a soldier of the Confederate States of America. David was a distinguished citizen of Franklin Co, as he was the Mayor of Russellville 1892-1894; the Circuit Court Clerk of Franklin CO for several terms; a properous merchant; the co-owner of the Quillen-Malone Livery Stables in downstown Russellville; a founder of the town of Belgreen, AL; a well respected member of the Grand Masonic Lodge of Russellville, etc. Amazing man. He was tall with black hair and blue eyes, and wore a mustache and beard.
Quite striking and handsome man.
The mother of Henry 'Buck' Parker is Syntha Parker, born 1853 and died about 1886. She was a petite, red-haired beauty with green eyes and an unquenchable spirit. Syntha is the daughter of John H. 'Jack' Parker and Charlotte Ellen (nee Burns).
The parents of Buck Parker, David Malone and Syntha Parker never married. Syntha was in love with another man.
Dora Martin is the daughter of Allen Martin, born August 1831 in Franklin CO, Al, died between the 1900 and 1910 US Census, and Sarah Catherine (nee Buchanan), born 10 July 1854 in Franklin CO, AL and died 10 December 1933.
