Dasie Timbs, 92, died Dec. 21, 1997 at the Care Center of Red Bay. She was a native of Texas and a homemaker. She was a member of Old Union Baptist Church.
Services were at the Old Union Baptist Church with burial in the Old Union Cemetery.
Survivors included four daughters .. onne Timbs, Virginia Abbott and ..rley White, all of Red Bay, and Dulcie Green of Golden; two sisters, Pearl Creech of New Iberia, La., and Mary Hamilton of Red Bay; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hosea Vander Timbs; two sons, Sanford and Winfred Timbs.
