Red Bay – Myrtle R. Bostick, 85, died July 3, 2009, at Helen Keller Hospital. She was born Jan. 9, 1924, in Franklin County, Ala., to Thomas Dee and Ollie Hyde Marbutt. She was a housewife and member of First Baptist Church in Red Bay.
Services were July 5 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with burial in Red Bay City Cemetery.
Survivors included two children, Betty Barker (Wayne) of Red Bay and James Bostick (Christie) of Russellville; three grandchildrenj and one brother, Bro. Coye Marbutt (Lora) Tuscumbia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bostick, and her parents.
