I am searching for info on James Jackson Day (death date, who were his siblings, parents, etc), b. ca 1824 NC, married in 1846 in Greene Co., AL to Gatsy MEEKS also born in NC (Pitt Co.). Jackson (as he was called) & Gatsy (Meeks) Day had one child that I know of, Amasa Day, b. ca 1847 in Greene Co., AL. Gatsy (Meeks) Day died in 1870. Amasa Day, the daughter, must have died before 1890 as she was not named on her grandfather's will. Any info on James Jackson Day will be appreciated. Thanks.
