Looking for more info on the William Gilmore who is in Greene County, Alabama in 1830 as follows
p. 388
William Gilmore
1 m 15<20
1 m 50<60 (b. 1770-80)
2 f 10<15
2 f 15<20
1 f 50<60

other Gilmer/Gilmore families in 1830 (they are of an age to be children of William)
p. 384
L. Gilmore
1 m 20-30
1 f <5
1 f 20<30

p. 386
William M. Gilmore

In 1840, no William, but there is an Elizabeth (the male 15<20 doesn't fit, however, unless it is a grandson from an older child, say William M. above)

1840 Alabama Greene County
p. 109
Elizabeth Gilmore
1 m 15-20
1 f 15-20
2 f 20-30
1 f 50-60
1 slave f <10

p. 110
James M. Gilmore
1 m 20-30
1 f 15-20

I am trying to tie in this family to my Elizabeth A. or N. Gilmore (b. abt 1827 in Alabama) who married James Madison Meadors/Meadows 30 Dec 1841 in Greene County. The L. Gilmore above lived next to James Madison Meadors family in 1830. She could be the girl age 15-20 living in Elizabeth Gilmore's household in 1840, with the age just a bit off. She shows up in 1850 married, age 23, with oldest child age 7, and her age is pretty consistent through 1880 on the census records.

Thanks,
Karen Dutton
