John and Elizabeth Upchurch Carpenter were my GGGgrandparents. Lawrence and Elizabeth Carpenter Williams were my GGgrandparents. Josiah and Mary Ann Williams Hales were by Ggrandparents.John and large family moved to Greene County during the 1820s. I believe Lawrence Williams moved to Greene about the same time. Josiah married about 1849 in Greene County to Mary Ann Williams. He moved with father Matthew and brothers to Greene County around 1840.Could someone give me any more information.
