There is a record of a Greene county
Circuit court case of J.H. & E.J. Butler
vs John Willis; Attachment.
in the April Term of 1857 according to the
American Whig issue 6-11-1857 which is in
Misc. Ala. Newspaper Abstracts Vol. 1. The
book has 20 Butler listings and 1 Buttler
including a David Butler (in Dallas county?)
in Nov. 1845.
