From "Marriages and Death Notices from Barbour and Henry Counties Alabama 1836 - 1890" the lone Starling reference says "Mr. Jim Southerland and Miss Starling daughter of Alfred Starling, were married last Friday at the home
of the bride's parents near Shorterville. Abbeville (Ala) Times". The date would have been 3 Oct. 1890.
Does anyone know which child of Alfred or his wives, this would have been?
