I have been looking for my Standley line that moved from Lawrenceville, Henry co., Al. to Ponce De Leon, Holmes co., Fla., Polk co. Fl., Palm Beach co. Fl.,Bradley co., Fl.,and pretty much all around Fl. Plus, in Texas as well. Homer David Standley b-1874 tx. wife: Lula Davis b-1870 Fl. Homer was the son of Stephen (Hilliard) Standley b-1849 Al. wife:Marietta Reese b-1850 Ga. Stephen was son of David B. Standley b-1800 Lawrenceville, Henry co., Al. wife:Patience Faircloth b-1810 Samson co.,N.C. I have found several others from Henry co., Al. that seem that they could easily fit, but not found any firm connections to my tree yet. ---------------------------------------------------------- A James Standley b-1788 N.C. moved to Henry co. Al. in 1815 where he bought 160 acres of land and died there in 1846. He had several children including a James Bradbury Standley b-1809 N.C. Three children born in N.C. and the rest born in Henry co.,Al. There was no David b-1800 listed in this family, but I thought they may be related. If anyone has any info on the first group of these or any connections between them, I wloud be thankful for the help. G. Daniels Notify Administrator about this message?
