Hill's "beloved daughter, Mrs. E. T. Mastin" might well be related to Frank Mastin and Jessie Mae Harris, who were born in Huntsville about Feb 1868 and probably would have been living when the obit was written. Mastin and Harris were large, fairly wealthy local families.

William Wylie Hill had a son (b. in 1868)who was a doctor and was named William Wylie Hill, Jr. I don't know where he lived.

So far I haven't found your clipping in online Maple Hill Cemetery records or in that Findagrave place. Probably my fault.
