Was Leah or Lucinda Sharp, daughter of John & Martha Sharp married to a John Harris? I am confused as there is a Lucinda married to a John Harris & they are on the Madison County Census for 1850. Also Leah Harris is found on the 1850 census with Talton & Martha Vaughan. Leah was the daughter of my ancestors John & Martha Sharp. Leah was in Arkansas in 1852 & 1853. She had hired Talton Vaughan as her attorney when she petitioned her claim as an heir of Martha's estate. If anyone can help me clear this up, I would appreciate it. I would like to know if Lucinda & Leah were two different individuals or if they were the same person. Email me through this forum or at spstrick@otelco.net
