Fielding/Fielden Salmon (b. abt 1820 in VA) with wife Elizabeth and their children are listed in census records for Madison Co, AL beginning in 1860. By the 1900 census, Fielding/Fielden is a widower living with his son, James Harvey Salmon and James' family. James' family and descendants seem to have remained in Madison County at least through 1930.
Is anyone working on this branch of the Salmon family? Am will ing to share information.
