Hello and thanks for the response. I'm not actually sure that your Charles Allen is the one I am looking for. I'm tryig to figure that out without much to go on. According to the little information I have, the Charles Allen I am looking for signed his name "Charles W. Allen". I am pretty sure that he would have ties to Alabama and/or Tennessee. He is connected in some way to an Oscar Allen who was born about 1907. But I'm not really sure what that connection is. Oscar Allen's death certificate names his father as Charles W. Allen. But I think that may be more of an adoptive situation (probably informal) rather than biological.
