Carol David “Whitey” Willcutt, 62, Winfield, died July 23, 2008, at his residence. Born on Sept. 25, 1945, in Marion County, he was the son of the late Norman David and Clara Mae Fowler Willcutt. He was a lifelong resident of Marion County, the Brilliant and Rock City areas. He was retired from Burleson Motors in Winfield, where he worked as a mechanic, and he was self-employed for several years. He was a member of the Brilliant Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Travis, Jimmy, Michael and Thomas Willcutt, and sisters, Betty Sue and Elouise Willcutt. Funeral services were July 26, from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home of Winfield, with burial in the Griggs Place Cemetery. Survivors included his wife - Ann Smith Willcutt; sisters - Gloria (Wayne) Kimbrell and Faye (Monty) Neuheisel, both of Brilliant, Patsy Flowers, Tuscaloosa, and Mary Jordan and Martha Rich, both of Winfield; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
