hamilton - Jimmy W. Fikes, 70, Hamilton, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton. Born on Jan. 12, 1938, in Marion County, he was the son of the late Floyd and Belle Nichols Fikes. He was retired as the owner and operator of the Amoco service station.
Funeral services were held July 30, from the Hamilton Alliance Church, with burial in the Hamilton Memory Gardens.
Survivors included his son - Kim Fikes, Hamilton; brothers - Harold Fikes, Huntsville, and Tommy (Linda) Fikes, Hamilton; sister - Marlene F. Sullins, Huntsville; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
