Randy Baughn, 51, died Oct. 3, 2008, in Williams, Iowa. He was born March 17, 1957, in Marion County, Ala., to Troy and Olis Jane Whitehead Baughn. He was a member of Detroit Baptist Church. He was an employee of CJ Farms and a former employee of NACCO. An automotive enthusiast, he enjoyed cars, trucks and motorcycles; working; spending time with his grandchildren; and motocross racing.
Services were at Otts Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent with burial in Pickle Cemetery.
Survivors included one son, Brandon (Amanda) Baughn of Hamilton, Ala.; two daughters, Miranda (Kevin) Rodrigues of Katy, Texas, and Lacie (Josh) Boshell of Detroit, Ala.; four grandchildren, Sydney Baughn, Baleigh Rodrigues, Tyler Boshell and Rylee Boshell; one brother, Michael (Donna) Baughn of Sulligent, Ala.; two sisters, Annette (Thurston) Butler of New Hope and Jannette “Cricket” Dubose of Sulligent; his girlfriend, Amber Mae “Puddin” McCoy of Sulligent.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Stephany Jane Baughn.
