Jessie Linley, 77, Tuscumbia, died Nov. 18, 2008, at the Florence Nursing Home. Born on Nov. 3, 1931, in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Loy and Rhoda Rayburn Hunter. She was a clerical worker for the U.S. Air Force.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Geneva Shackleford and Lorene King, and brothers, Dault and Tuney Garner.
Funeral services were Nov. 20, 2008, from the Hackleburg Funeral Home, with burial in the Cedar Tree Cemetery.
Survivors included her husband - George Linley; daughters - Wanda and Debbie Linley and Terri (Johnny) Hall; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister - Willie Mae (Powell) Aldridge; brother - Charles T. (Mae) Gann; and a host of nieces and nephews.
