Faye Harder, 68, of Gattman died Dec. 4, 2008, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. She was the widow of Edward Harder and a 1958 graduate of Whiteville, W.Va., High School.
Born March 31, 1940, in Whiteville, she was the daughter of Homer C. and Maudie Bussard Underwood. A Baptist, she had worked as a seamstress.
Services were at Otts chapel, with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Hamilton, Ala.
Survivors included three daughters, Lisa Ann Lawrence (Ladd), Columbia, Ohio, Vickie Van Fossen of Nokesville, Va., Karol Perry (Ricky) of Gattman; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, Homer Underwood of Sulligent; four sisters, Jean Brown of Sulligent, Kathleen Bearfield, Beckley, W.Va., Claudette Underwood, Waukegan, Ill. and Mary Lou Underwood of Arizona.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Hollis Underwood; and two sisters, Drucille and Nellie Underwood.
