My 2nd great grandmother (Sarah Elizabeth Downs Pierce) attorney was John Caldwell from Marion County, Alabama. She applied for husband (John Thomas Pierce) civil war pension 9/5/1862. He was killed at Shiloh 4/1862.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about John Caldwell's Records. It would be nice if I could get his records on her.
