Fred Morrison, who was born in Monroe County, died February 25, 1965 of a heart attack in a nursing home in Haleyville, Ala. He was 69. Services were held February 27 at the city cemetery in Hamilton, with Nix Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Morrison was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John A. Morrison.
Survivors included his mother, Mrs. Fannie Phillips of Jackson, Mich.; three sons, Lieber and Archie of Aurora, Ill., and Eugene of Oxford; two brothers, G. E. Morrison of Fulton and Bill Morrison of Amory; two sisters, Mrs. Nudie Harmon of Aberdeen and Mrs. Jettie Warner of Jackson, Mich.
