Like you, I don't see a match for them in Georgia in 1850. The closest I found was this: 1850 Heard County, GA family 718/735 George Dollasson, 28, GA Susan, 25, GA Singleton, 9, GA William, 6, GA Susan, 5, GA Babe, 3, male, GA Babe, 1, male, GA It doesn't really match the 1860 that well so I don't know. It looks like son Wyatt S. Donalson served in Company I of the 25th Alabama Infantry during the war and filed for a CSA soldier's pension in Cleburne County. If you haven't already done so, you might send off for a copy of that application from the Archives in Montgomery. In it he probably gave his place of birth so you may net a Georgia county name from it. Worth a shot, hope it helps. Scott Notify Administrator about this message?
