Thank you for your time and information.I especially appreciate your confirmation of French Canada.I also learned of the French expulsion by the British in the 1700’s; far to early for this James to be directly involved.
Sorry to mislead you.I was not implying that William Fisher and J.J. Fisher were the same person or that J.J. Fisher immigrated in 1875.I was hoping that William was one of the brothers who came to U. S. with J. J. Fisher, or perhaps came later to join him.
My point was the similarities in naming and location.
1900 Census shows J.J. Fisher/ Barbara Malone in Escambia County, Beulah area. They remained in that home until their deaths.
1901 Census shows William Fisher and family in Beulah two houses from Joel Malone, Barbara Malone’s brother.
James Fisher and Barbara Malone were married in Baldwin County Al in 1877.Their children were James Andrew (1879), William H. (1880) Charlotte (1883) Catherine (1886), Joseph Daniel (1889) Mary (1891).The first children were born in Al.
Thank you again.
Regards,
Gwen
