Finley/Findley, Martha Jackson or Birdy Jackson
My Grandmother was Willie May Findley (b.1889 LA.?) have marriage Lic. from Union ARK. 1907(spelled Findley) to Floyd Merritt (b. GA.) traced back to her parents (1910 Union LA. census) Louis and Martha Finley w/ 3 children only one lived with them at that time (1910), Emmet (have newspaper clipping where he drowned swimming the river with Louis)
Louis Finley W M age51 M29yrs b.LA. father b.Miss. mother b.LA. carpenter (connection needed Mississippi Finley/Findley that moved to Louisianna where he was born)
Martha(Jackson?)Finley wife W F age52 M29yrs. 3children who survive b.ALA. father GA. mother ALA.
Also a niece lived with them (enumerated bad)as Birdy Jackson or Jackson Birdy?? Possible that Martha was a Jackson from Alabama. Unknown things: American Indian blood came from where? Willie May (Findley)Merritt (I have photo) told my Father she was Acadian French and Native American (most likely Choctaw Nation). Who was the 3rd child from Luois and Martha? Martha Jackson's(?) relations from Alabama? Louis Finley's relations from Mississippi? If you can help post back or email [email protected]
