Marriages listed that may pertain to this family:
Morgan, John m. Collier, Solemania E. 25 Oct 1860 (bk 4 pg 213)
Morgan, John m. West, Jane 18 June 1844 (bk 1 pg 201)
Morgan, Lula L. m. Newton, Parmer 23 Oct 1884 (bk 10 pg 311)
There are several 'John Morgan(s)' many use middle initials so they can be ruled out.
This newspaper abstract doesn't use a middle initial:

......
Listed in 'Record of Confederate Soldiers -Pike County, Alabama:39 th Alabama Infantry Regiment, CSA (mustered May 1862) "Morgan, John H---died 1900"
.........
No idea if this pertains to your Morgan line...but it was so interesting I'm posting it for others to use.It contains a lot of Morgan names. It's from the book named "150 yrs of Pike County History 1821-1971" by Margaret Pace Farmer c. 1973 pgs 386 & 387(This is a great book for research)
"Clem Morgan was born in Ebenezer in 1883.His father John Morgan II was born in Macon County, Alabama and married Martha Ann Gilmore. His grandfather John Morgan I came from North Carolina.Clem's other grandfather, Augustus "Gus" Richardson lived in Pike County between Ebenezer and Ramah Church.
Angus Morgan, Clem's brother, had a store in Ebenezer which had formerly belonged to John Stewart, father of Will and Roscoe Stewart.Angus Morgan had a home just across the road from the store."
" The children of John Morgan II and Martha Ann Gilmore were: Fillmore Morgan who married Mattie Lou Sanders; Theodore Morgan married Ola Sterling; his hand was blown off loading an old muzzle-loading gun; Angus Morgan who married Mattie Smith; Monroe Morgan, who married Maggie Kendrid; John Frank Morgan, who married Della Kendrid (half sister of Maggie); Dowling Morgan, who married Elie Jackson; Iola Morgan who married John Reeves; Clem Morgan, who married Mary Frances Benton; Lockard Morgan, who married Sallie Dunn; Shirley Morgan who married Alma Powell.Clem Morgan lived for nine years in Coffee County and then returned to Pike. With the exception of this one interval in the life of one of the children, all ten of the Morgans stayed in Pike County all their lives and lived within eight miles of the place of their birth.
John Morgan II raised a Negro boy also.He saw the three year old child at a gin near Monticello and found that he was an orphan whom the local Negroes would not take in.John Morgan took the Negro child home with him, fed and clothed him until he was an adult. The Morgan family lived in a log house with a detached log kitchen. The Negro had his bed in the kitchen. He took the name of Hence Morgan and he moved to Troy when he was grown.
Clem Morgan has lived all of his life on a farm.He now resides in an 80 year old frame house with two daughters and one sone. The house is at Dunn's Cross Roads."
