Wilhemina, I presume your family is connected with the Savetsila family of Thailand, who are descended from Henry Alabaster. I am the secretary of the Alabaster Society, (Larainehake@nasuwt.net) and I am able to tell you that Virginia Bird and Siddhi Savetsila are both members of the Society and so are in touch with us for information on Henry. I have recently been able to let Virginia have the original copies of Henry's letters written home to family in England from Thailand, for example.
